Florina Apolinar Claudio, PhD, LMFT
Florina L. Apolinar Claudio understands that the therapy setting can be anxiety provoking. Therefore, she works at providing a setting where clients can feel understood while also being supported and challenged. She helps clients identify and employ their strengths throughout therapy to assist in creating healthier personal and relationship patterns. Florina has an understanding of cultural communities, familial structures, beliefs, and values that impact clients’ lives. In her work with clients, Florina guides them in achieving their goals by teaching coping strategies, boundary-setting, and implementing interventions that are best suited for the situation at hand.
Florina’s credentials involve receiving her degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Syracuse University and her Ph.D. in Couple and Family Therapy from Drexel University. She is licensed in both New York and Massachusetts.
