Tina Lin Huber, MA, LMFT
Tina Lin Huber is a relationally trained post-graduate therapist who specializes in helping individuals, couples, and families repair their relationships. She believes that fulfilling needs for attachment, intimacy, and connection is a universal human truth rooted in the foundation of all healthy relationships with oneself and others.
Tina works with clients who often “feel stuck” by helping them: identify destructive patterns that exist; understand their role in maintaining these patterns; and replace these negative cycles with more positive & healthy ways of relating. This approach to therapy involves highlighting the circular nature of the relationship and aiding clients in processing relationship dynamics to facilitate healing & constructive changes in the individual, couple, or family.
Tina honors diversity and views all lives as multi-storied – rich with details, unique experiences, and influenced by distinct messages we receive from our family, society, and the communities we grew up in. Tina utilizes the therapy room as a safe space for clients to discover the neglected stories buried beneath issues to create new meaning and hope – freeing clients from the confinement and weight of their problems.
Tina’s therapeutic style is both warm & direct when necessary. Her respect for others, compassion, and gentle sense of humor provide a nurturing environment for clients to express themselves in the healing process.
Tina is a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT), New England Association for Family and Systemic Therapy (NEAFST), and Delta Kappa (the International Marriage and Family Therapy Honor Society). She received her Master’s in Marriage & Family Therapy with highest honors from Northcentral University and her Bachelor’s Degree Summa Cum Laude in International Marketing from Bentley University. She is under supervision of Stephen Duclos LMFT, CST.
